Kaléidoscope: Overloon

Kaléidoscope, a series by Rogier van Eck and Marc-Henry Wajnberg for ARTE, looked at the places where people live and work, a district, a factory, a liner, a hospital, and at how each culture organises its own territory. For this episode Rob Rombout filmed the penitentiary centre of Overloon in the Netherlands: its director Jan van den Brand, the detainees, the women’s prison and the rooster farm in front of the walls.
