Joost de Vries

Le portrait de Joost de Vries ouvre sur son univers de pensée, ses fascinations et son besoin de tout savoir d’un sujet, à rebours du relativisme et du cynisme des écrivains qui l’ont précédé. Un entretien le saisit, littéralement, sous tous les angles ; ses paroles accompagnent les images d’un voyage en train, et parfois les contredisent. L’écrivain et le cinéaste se retrouvent dans un wagon anonyme, hors du temps, tandis que défilent paysages, haltes fortuites, architecture peu hollandaise et passants.
